Super Star go go bar on Patpong Soi 1 is very similar in every way to nearby go go bars like King Castle 1, King Castle 2 and King Camelot. It is large but pretty empty. It’s dark inside but you can see the girls on stage. You can also see the bar around the stage and some stools. There are more comfortable seats on the sides of the room and near the entrance.
Patpong is now known as a place to be scammed by most Bangkok regulars. At a lot of the Patpong go go bars the women are loud and pushy. That’s not the case at Super Star. At the same time the staff at Super Star is small and the women aren’t that great looking either.
Beer is very cheap. It’s still just 120 Baht for a bottle. Lady drinks on the other hand are expensive. Buying a bar girl a simple glass of soda will cost you 110 Baht but if she wants alcohol mixed in to her mixed drink the price goes up to 170 Baht.
The bar fine is the usual Patpong price of 600 Baht. It used to be 500 Baht only a few months ago, but the prices are going up across the board in Patpong and Bangkok in general. The bar fines in Patpong go go bars are now about the same as those over in Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. It’s rare to find any go go bar in Bangkok that still charges 500 Baht for a bar fine.
Super Star go go bar is located on Patpong Soi 1 at the corner of the smaller alley that connnects Patpong 1 and Patpong 2. It is opposite the nightclub Twilo.
