Salil Hotel is a small group of 3 boutique hotels: Salil Hotel soi 8 (Sukhumvit soi 8), Salil Hotel soi 11 (Sukhumvit soi 11), Salil Hotel Thonglor (Soi Thonglor 1).
This is a review of Salil Hotel Soi 8.
Salil Hotel Soi 8 is located at the very end of Sukhumvit soi 8, on the right hand side. It is a bit of a walk to and from Sukhumvit road, however they provide a 24/7 Tuk-Tuk service to and from the BTS Station Nana (corner of Sukhumvit soi 8 and Sukhumvit road). Therefore it is a very convenient location, not far from the action but much quieter than the part of the soi closer to the main road.
Sukhumvit soi 8 being a dead-end, it is actually very quiet.
The standard room goes for 1,900 baht including 2 breakfasts and Salil Hotel soi 8 is Guest Friendly (no joiner fee), which means you may take your breakfast with your guest if she/he’s still here in the morning!
Free WIFI in the rooms, in the lobby and at the Cafe de Salil next door (open 6:30 am – 10:30 pm).
No pool, no gym, no sauna, etc. This hotel is a bit expensive considering the (lack of) facilities, however the location is great and cheaper rates are available if you book online here.
